The Mission is Awesome! Keeping Busy

The mission is awesome!

I know I always say that but it really is! This week went pretty well! We baptized Iran this week! Iran is Caio´s brother. Caio was baptized last week. Their mom supports them and everything, but it doesn´t look like she wants to get baptized any time soon. She doesn´t want to give up coffee. We´ll see in the future though! Iran is really awesome kid! He´s __years old, and now he´s the third in his family to be baptized. One of his brothers was baptized about a year ago, the other a week ago,and he was just baptized this week!

Mission tour was super good! I learned a ton! I´ve learned tons of ways to improve as a missionary. I also got to see lots of other missionaries. I saw Elder Haws (my last companion)! He´s a super cool guy and he actually gets home from his mission next week.

It turns out that the member of the seventy didn´t come to our house. We cleaned it really well though in case he did. But yeah it went really well.

Casa Celestial - A Baptism!

Casa Celestial House
What´s up!
Hope everyone is doing stinkin awesome in the states! Man this week was crazy, like every week pretty much.

Do you guys remember Caio, the 15 year-old that came to church last Sunday?
HE WAS BAPTIZED YESTERDAY! Wooh! Man he´s such an awesome guy. He´s 15 years old but he looks older than me. (then again it´s not too hard to look older than me, baha!) His little brother was actually baptized a few months ago. We started teaching him this past week and he was baptized yesterday! After the baptism, his other little brother said that he wants to be baptized! We´re going to teach and prepare his brother for baptism this week too!Their mom is really cool and she supports them and everything. She drinks beer and coffee though and doesn´t really want to give it up. We´re going to keep working with her though!

It's the Lord's Work and There's no Time to Slack Off

Bom dia!

What´s up guys?  How´s it going way up there in the states? It´s definitely getting hot up here. It´s not that it´s too hot but there´s definitely lots of sun. I´m turning into an umpaloompa! (i don´t know how to spell that). Everyone that talks to me says I should wear sunscreen and stuff. But the problem is that I do! bahah, pretty much every day.

We were eating at a member´s house the other day and the mom asked me if she could paint my eyebrows since they´re like really blonde. What?? baha! yeah I said no. haha, it was pretty funny though.

This week went pretty well. We brought our investigator, Teresinha to church yesterday again. She super great and she´s progressing too, but she has to quit smoking still. The weekly goals for our mission are increasing a lot. A while ago they made a new goal of 150 contacts a week. It took a while, but finally Elder M and I got 150 in a week. We´re going to try to do even more next week.

You Have Not Failed Until You Quit Trying

Bom dia!

How´s everyone doing? This week was pretty good. Elder M is a really good missionary and we're pretty excited for this transfer.

Guess what! I found out that one of my investigators from Maringá was finally baptized. Her name is Cleiza. Man she is really awesome! I was a bit sad when I found out I was getting transferred and I wouldn't be there to see her get baptized, but I´m super happy for her! She's the type of person that you know will stay active and be a strong member. It was so awesome to see her change while we were with her in Maringá. It´s so awesome to see her make such a special covenant with God.

I Have Faith We Are Going to Have Lot's of Success

Bom dia!

How´s everyone doing? I´ll speak honestly. I don´t have too much time to write today so I´ll try and write everything.

Congrats Jordyn on getting called as sister training leader! that´s so awesome! You´re going to do great!
Man this week was full of a lot of work. We found a lot of good people this week, but none of them ended up coming to church on Sunday :(. It´s all good though. we´ll bring them next. We have one investigator named Rosanna that´s doing pretty well. She searching and praying for an answer. We´re going to do our best to help her be baptized this next transfer. Actually her 15 year old daughter was baptized a year ago, but she´s less active now. They definitely have potential though.
