It Was a Super Experience to be on a Mission During Christmas!

Bom dia!

Man is was so great to talk to you guys at Christmas! You´re all so beautiful! haha jk.

That was definitely the best part of Christmas, being able to talk to you guys.

Man yesterday was so crazy. President Genaro came to our ward for the first time since I arrived in his ward. Luckily we had investigators at church yesterday, but unluckily, we only had one. It was super cool though. We got to talk to him and Sister Genaro for a bit. But while I was talking to Presidente Genaro, one of the bishopric counselors walked up to me and invited me to give a short talk in sacrament meeting. Haha I gave a talk on the very Sunday that our mission president was there. haha, it went pretty well though.

We just finished this last transfer today. It´s been pretty rough to be honest, but I´ve learned and grown so much in the last 6 weeks. i totally thought that i would stay in this area for at least one more transfer, but guess what, I'm being transferred! I´m going to a city called Morangueira, which is pretty close to Maringá (my second area). My new companion is Elder Coelho. I think I met him once, but I don´t know him too well. It´s going to be a great experience though.

Feliz Natal! Merry Christmas!!

Londrina Mission Conference

Bom dia!

Man it´s so crazy to think that Christmas is already here! I don´t know if that´s because It´s hot here, or because the time is passing by really fast. Probably both!

This week was pretty good! We went on splits this week. I was with Elder Juinsse, one of the assistants. Man he is such an awesome guy and a great missionary. I learned tons when I was with him. That was acutually the 4th time that i went on splits with him. Twice when he was my zone leader, and twice when he was an assistant. He really helped us out a lot and I got a lot of great ideas out of him!

We brought a few new people to church this Sunday. We´re going to be teaching them a lot this week. One of them is Edson. We found while we were at church that his dad used to be member of the church, but died  when he was 5 years old. So he went to church when he was 5 years old but doesn´t remember much. he´s a super cool guy!

He is the Present- Christ Lives

Bom dia!

Tomorrow is Christmas conference in our mission! ALL of the missionaries in our mission are coming for conference. This will be the first time that it´s happened since I got here.

This week was pretty good! I really like our zone here in Londrina, but our zone hasn´t been having too much success lately. We´re trying to fix that. Elder Matos is a super cool guy! He´s a great missionary too! There´s been a lot of joking and laughter this past week.

We had lunch with a few members that live pretty far away. We had to like cross a forest to get to their home faster. It was stinkin awesome! i felt like i was in a brazilian jungle for a bit, haha! We sure had to do a lot of walking this week though.

First Brazilian Companion! So Excited!!

Dec. 8. 2014

Bom dia todo mundo!

Man this week was crazy. I say that pretty much every week, but this week it was really was!

Tuesday afternoon Elder Hendrix and I were doing the work of the Lord when the Assistants called. Elder Hendrix was transferred! We had to run back to the house so that he could pack all of his stuff. That night he caught the bus to go to his new area in a city called Campo Morão and I receive my first Brazilian companion! His name is Elder Mathos. He´s a really cool guy and i´m learning a lot with him. It was an emergency transfer. I

So yeah! I have a new companion now. I´m still in the same area though. I´m really liking my ward. The members sure take care of us. I just have to get used to the area though. We need to start finding a lot of new investigators because we don´t have too many right now. That´s what we´re going to focus on a lot this week. Finding people.

Seeing Miracles....

Getting some sun!  At a leadership conference in Londrina

Bom dia!

Hey guys! hope everyone is doing flipping awesome!
Congrats Jordyn on fulfilling your mission. I´m sure it was a great experience and I can´t wait to talk to you about it at Christmas!

This week was pretty good, but a little slow with the work. We found a few new investigators this week, but we need to find more. There´s so much to do and little time to do it all. Our teaching pool is pretty small right now. we're trying to find more people right now.

We have an investigator named Paula that we brought to church this Sunday. She has testimony and everything, but has to stop smoking. She´s been trying for a while. We´re going to try to help her out a lot this week! She´s doing pretty well though.

Guess what! We had lunch with President and Sister Genaro this week, since i´m serving in their ward! President Genaro is a super great mission president! It was super awesome! I got to sit down and talk to him and his family for like an hour. That doesn´t usually happen since he´s always so busy and has like 200 missionaries. It was really a special privelege.

Please Pray for Us!

Nov. 24, 2014

Bom dia!
I´m in Londrina!! Man I can´t believe I´m already back in Londrina. And guess what, I´m in President Genaro´s ward! I´m going to be eating lunch with him this week! Crazy! Talk about pressure, haha! He´s always traveling though so he´s rarely in our ward on Sunday. My companion is Elder Hendrix. He´s actually a super awesome guy! He served 10 months in the U.S.. He was in Colorado. He got here one and a half transfers ago. He´s a really great missionary and he really likes to work. He already speaks really well too.

We live in a house behind some less-actives. They´re really great people and the house is pretty nice too. There´s only two missionaries that live in this house though.

I´ll be honest, I was a bit sad when I found out that I was leaving Marília. I´m glad to be here in Londrina though. The members here are great! They give us soo much food. I´m seriously going to get so fat here! There´s a member of the church that owns a creamery. He makes super good ice cream. He´s pretty old and can´t carry much, so when we help him , he gives us free iced cream. Man it´s soo good! I didn´t think there was a day last week where we didn´t get some food from members.

The Lord Has a Plan For Me...

November 17, 2014

Baptism of Carlos

Hey guys!

Man so much has happened this week that I don´t know if I´ll get to write it all. First off, I´ve been transferred!! Holy cow that caught me by surprise! I totally was not expecting that. I thought I would finish Elder Andrew´s training, but I guess not. I´m going to Londrina! It looks like I´ll be in the city part. We´ll see how it goes, haha. I think I´ll be finishing someone´s training. His name is Elder Hendrix. I don´t know him yet but i sure hope he´s a good guy, haha. So yep! I´m leaving Marília. Man I´ve had such a great time here in this area and I´m really going to miss all of the members and investigators here.

Speaking of investigators. Carlos was baptized this week! He wasn´t baptized last week because he said he wouldn´t be able keep the law of chastity. We invited him to pray about the law of chastity that same night and he did. The next time we stopped by, he said  that he prayed and that it changed his mind! He had a few other doubts about some other stuff, but yesterday he was baptized! Man he is such an awesome guy! I´m really sad that I’m being transferred and that I´m not going to see him more. But I´m super happy that I was able to see him get baptized!

Sometimes You Just Come Up Short....

Trevor and Elder Andrews  (check out his tan!)

Bom dia!

Hey mom how many more weeks does Jordyn have on her mission? 1 or 2?

Hope everyone is doing well! Carlos was ALMOST baptized! He was doing so well, but on the day of his baptism, he decided not too. He said that he still wants to be baptized, but in the future. He´s really a super awesome guy, but unfortunately it looks like we´re going to have to cut him. Who knows, maybe he´ll change his mind in the future.

Caroliny was confirmed yesterday at church! There are lots of members that are starting to reach out to her now. I´m super stoked for her! She´s doing really well and wants to start prepping to enter the temple. Man she's changed her life so much since when we first met her.

We have lots of other really good investigators that we are teaching right now too. They´ve got lots of potential, but need to come to church.

We're Totally Stoked for Christmas!

Nov. 3, 2014

Hey guys!

This week went pretty well. Carolaine was baptized yesterday. She´s our investigator that didn´t believe in God when we first met her. Man she´s changed her life so much since the first time we met her. She´s had a lot of problems and a lot of fights with her family. She’s starting to fix her relationship and her family. She is so much happier since when we first met her. Her Dad came to see her baptism. During fast and testimony meeting, her dad stood up. He talked about how he was so happy for her daughter and the change she´s made in her life. Man i´m so glad we´ve got to be a part of it.

The other missionaries that we live with baptized a mom and her daughter yesterday too. So three people were baptized in our ward yesterday. We actually brought a lot of people to church yesterday.
We actually have a lot of investigators to work with now.

More Miracles! Heavenly Father Answers Prayers

Oct. 27, 2014

Bom dia!

Man this week such a crazy and awesome week! Totally full of miracles!

First off, hey mom do you remember the package you sent me for Christmas a couple weeks ago. I got it, haha! Should i wait two months to open it because that´s kind of going to be a temptation. I your other package too! thank you so much mom and dad! Thank you SSOOO much Aunt Christy for your package too! It totally made my week!

We have an investigator named Carlos. He´s 40 years old and really wants to be baptized. He smokes but not much, like 2 cigarette a day. He went to church yesterday and loved it. He´s got a baptismal date for this Sunday, but he needs to stop smoking. Please keep him in your prayers! Man he´s such an awesome guy!

We have another investigator named E. Her husband is a pastor for another church and absolutely hates mormons. This is the third Sunday in a row that she came to church on her own. Her siblings are members and she know a lot about the church. She hasn´t let us meet with her yet because she knows her husband will not approve. But yesterday at church she told me that she wants to start taking the lessons so that she can be baptized. She knows it´s true. She said that every time she reads the book of mormon she feels the spirit! Man that was such an awesome experience. We´re going to start meeting with her tomorrow.

Miracles- I Don't Speak English Very Well Anymore

Oct. 20, 2014

Hey guys!

Man today has been such a crazy week that I don´t know where to start! on top of that I'm running short on time to write today.

This week we found lots of new investigators, which is good since number has been slowly dwindling. We found a few families too that we´re starting to teach. We´re pretty excited to start teaching them a lot more.

Elder Andrews is doing really well. He´s already improved a bunch wth his Português! He´s really excited to learn and he´s improving really fast. He´s going to be a great missionary.

It's Getting Hot! I'm Training an American

Oct. 13, 2014

What´s up my peeps!

I´m training an American! His name is Elder Andrews and he´s a super awesome guy! He´s going to be a great missionary! He´s really new so he doesn´t speak too well yet, but I totally understand because I was the exact same when I first got on the mission. He´s from Rexburg, Idaho and he´s 25% Korean. That´s flippin sweet! He doesn´t speak a lot of Korean but he wrote my name in Korean. Jordyn, how do you understand that. It looks like a baby drew on a piece of paper, baha!

Remembering My Brother and Friend Andrew Page

Andrew Page

October 6, 2014

Bom Dia com muito alegria!

Yesterday was the last day of transfers, and guess what......I´m going to train again! President Genaro called me last night and told me I will be training. Elder M is getting transferred to Cascavel and he´s going to be companions with Elder B, my companion from the MTC! Man he´s going to learn a lot from him. Elder B is a really awesome missionary.

So I´m super stoked to train. I more or less trained Elder M. I basically just finished the second part of his training. This time I´m geting a companion completely new to the field. I´m a bit nervous, but super excited for this opportunity I have to serve.

Man conference was so awesome! It was such a great experience to see the prophet´s face and hear such awesome talks! We watched it in Português this time. I realized that my Português has gotten a lot better!

The Mission is Awesome! Keeping Busy

The mission is awesome!

I know I always say that but it really is! This week went pretty well! We baptized Iran this week! Iran is Caio´s brother. Caio was baptized last week. Their mom supports them and everything, but it doesn´t look like she wants to get baptized any time soon. She doesn´t want to give up coffee. We´ll see in the future though! Iran is really awesome kid! He´s __years old, and now he´s the third in his family to be baptized. One of his brothers was baptized about a year ago, the other a week ago,and he was just baptized this week!

Mission tour was super good! I learned a ton! I´ve learned tons of ways to improve as a missionary. I also got to see lots of other missionaries. I saw Elder Haws (my last companion)! He´s a super cool guy and he actually gets home from his mission next week.

It turns out that the member of the seventy didn´t come to our house. We cleaned it really well though in case he did. But yeah it went really well.

Casa Celestial - A Baptism!

Casa Celestial House
What´s up!
Hope everyone is doing stinkin awesome in the states! Man this week was crazy, like every week pretty much.

Do you guys remember Caio, the 15 year-old that came to church last Sunday?
HE WAS BAPTIZED YESTERDAY! Wooh! Man he´s such an awesome guy. He´s 15 years old but he looks older than me. (then again it´s not too hard to look older than me, baha!) His little brother was actually baptized a few months ago. We started teaching him this past week and he was baptized yesterday! After the baptism, his other little brother said that he wants to be baptized! We´re going to teach and prepare his brother for baptism this week too!Their mom is really cool and she supports them and everything. She drinks beer and coffee though and doesn´t really want to give it up. We´re going to keep working with her though!

It's the Lord's Work and There's no Time to Slack Off

Bom dia!

What´s up guys?  How´s it going way up there in the states? It´s definitely getting hot up here. It´s not that it´s too hot but there´s definitely lots of sun. I´m turning into an umpaloompa! (i don´t know how to spell that). Everyone that talks to me says I should wear sunscreen and stuff. But the problem is that I do! bahah, pretty much every day.

We were eating at a member´s house the other day and the mom asked me if she could paint my eyebrows since they´re like really blonde. What?? baha! yeah I said no. haha, it was pretty funny though.

This week went pretty well. We brought our investigator, Teresinha to church yesterday again. She super great and she´s progressing too, but she has to quit smoking still. The weekly goals for our mission are increasing a lot. A while ago they made a new goal of 150 contacts a week. It took a while, but finally Elder M and I got 150 in a week. We´re going to try to do even more next week.

You Have Not Failed Until You Quit Trying

Bom dia!

How´s everyone doing? This week was pretty good. Elder M is a really good missionary and we're pretty excited for this transfer.

Guess what! I found out that one of my investigators from Maringá was finally baptized. Her name is Cleiza. Man she is really awesome! I was a bit sad when I found out I was getting transferred and I wouldn't be there to see her get baptized, but I´m super happy for her! She's the type of person that you know will stay active and be a strong member. It was so awesome to see her change while we were with her in Maringá. It´s so awesome to see her make such a special covenant with God.

I Have Faith We Are Going to Have Lot's of Success

Bom dia!

How´s everyone doing? I´ll speak honestly. I don´t have too much time to write today so I´ll try and write everything.

Congrats Jordyn on getting called as sister training leader! that´s so awesome! You´re going to do great!
Man this week was full of a lot of work. We found a lot of good people this week, but none of them ended up coming to church on Sunday :(. It´s all good though. we´ll bring them next. We have one investigator named Rosanna that´s doing pretty well. She searching and praying for an answer. We´re going to do our best to help her be baptized this next transfer. Actually her 15 year old daughter was baptized a year ago, but she´s less active now. They definitely have potential though.

We Shouldn't Procrastinate the Day of Our Repentance

Bom dia!!

Happy Birthday Matt! I realized your birthday would be this past week after i got off the computer last Monday. Hope it was good bro!

Man this past week was crazy! Then again it always is. First off, I´m not getting transferred. Actually, none of the missionaries that I live with are getting transferred. Elder M and I are going to be companions for one more transfer. We´re both excited to work hard and baptize lots!

Unfortunately Our investigator Nilse wasn´t baptized this past week, and now it looks like we´re going to have to stop teaching her. She was almost baptized a week ago, but she wanted to wait. We stopped by pretty much every day this week to help her out with smoking and have more desire to be baptized. We even went on splits with the Assistants! I was with Elder Juinsse. He was my zone leader in my first area. Man he is an awesome missionary. But still, Nilse wanted to wait. Then on Friday she smoked. When we got to her house she was just finishing the cigarette. She didn´t go to church on Sunday and she still wants to wait a while for baptism. It looks like we are going to have to stop teaching her for a while. It´s always hard, but we don´t have time to stop by every day if she won´t progress.

Continuing to Work Hard......A Great Week!

Hey guys!

Man this week went pretty great! :) First off, Vera finally got confirmed! We brought her to church. She brought her friend too, and her friend absolutely loved it! It was a pretty cool experience. Vera was even crying a bit after she was confirmed.

We did a lot better this week with the work. We talked to more people, brought investigators to church and everything like that.

WE ALMOST BAPTIZED NILSE YESTERDAY! Man she was so close. She was preparing for baptism all this week and even was really excited for it, but then called us Sunday morning and told us that she wants to wait longer to feel more prepared. We told her she at least had to do the baptismal interview and bring clothes and a towel. She went to church with everything and had the interview. She passed, but said that she wanted to wait. We tried basically everything to help her realize the importance of being baptized as fast as possible, but she wanted to wait to feel more prepared. Man she was sooo close!! Haha! She was there with everything. I was a bit disappointed at first, but I know she´ll be baptized eventually. She´s super awesome!

Difficulties and Challenges Give us Opportunities to Grow

What´s up everyone!

Man today has been full of ups and downs. Something crazy happened though. On Tuesday the other missionaries that I live with called me and told me that they were at an investigators house teaching. The investigator offered them grapejuice and said it didn´t have alcohol. They drank it and started to feel really drowsy and relaxed. They called me when they left and told me that they think they drank alcohol. We met them at the house and called the mission president and everything. They´re fine, but they felt different for a while. They don´t know if the guy gave it to them on purpose or it was a bit old and it fermented or something.  President just told them to be careful next time. But yeah it was pretty crazy, haha. Whenever they bump stuff or drop something now we joke that they´re still drunk, baha!

They language is coming along really well. I´m starting to feel more and more comfortable every week the Português.

A Baptism!

E AÍ!

Wow today has been a crazy week!...like always, haha! Hey mom you´re going to be really mad at me, but I totallly forgot my camara at home, please don´t kill me. I promise to send pictures next week. Sorry mom, love you!

Vera was baptized this week! I´ll see if my companion can send me a picture of the baptism. She is so awesome! she completely changed her life. She had a rough life in the past.  She stopped smoking and completely turned her life around. She was so excited to be baptized and make this covenant with God.
Unfortunately she hasn't been confirmed yet. We stopped by her house to help bring her to church but she wasn't there. We found out after church that she wasn't there because she was in the hospital. She´s fine! she just had some kind of problem with a nosebleed or something. She´ll for sure be confirmed next week!

Four Missionaries- Four Different Countries

Bom dia!!!!

Man this week passed by really fast. Actually this entire transfer is passing by fast. We´re already in the third week!

Elder M is a really good companion. We´re having success together. We definitely have to do more though.

One of our investigators is getting baptized tomorrow! Her name is Vera. She´s had a rough past, but she´s completely changing her life. She stopped smoking and drinking coffee. She really has such a strong desire to be baptized. She´s super awesome. After church yesterday, we walked up to her. She was looking at the baptismal font and crying. She is great. She´s super nice too! I think she´s about 50 years old. The ward is totally reaching out to her too.

I'm In Marilia!

July 21
Bom Dia!

Holy cow today has been a crazy week!

I´m in Marília! I´m actually liking my new area so far. My companion is Elder Manz. He´s from Argentina. He´s a really good missionary. He was half-way through his training when I got here. I´m going to finish his training.
He´s doing really well though. He´s not afraid to talk to people in the streets or anything like that. He already speaks really well. Actually, since he´s from Argentina he understands Português better than I do. We´re both going to learn lots this transfer together.

Holy Cow! I'm getting Transferred!

July 14

Holy cow a lot happened this week. This week has been crazy!

Last week was the last week of transfers. I learned tons and grew a lot this transfer, and I know that I have tons more that I will learn this next transfer.

Speaking of transfers....I´m getting transferred! Holy cow it totally caught me by surprise! I totally was not expecting to get transferred so quickly. Oh, and one more thing. I´m going to be training too! Holy cow I´m a bit nervous for that, but I´m definitely excited to. I know that I´m going to learn a lot this next transfer. My companion is going to be Elder Hanz. I have no idea if he´s American, Brazilian, or Hispanic. He already started his training. I´m just going to finish it with him.

Love Your Neighbor

Trevor with Elder Haws

What´s up!

Hope everyone had a good week! This week was pretty good. We had zone conference with mission president and a couple other zones. It was sweet! I got to talk to people that I haven´t seen in a while and everything. I ran into Elder Newkirk, my trainer! He´s doing pretty well. He´s zone leader in a nearby city. Hey mom do you know the Shenawerk´s? One of the assistants, Elder Shenawerk, said that you and his mom are really good friends or something like that. He´s going home next week. He´s a super cool guy though. So yeah, I learned tons that zone conference.

The Work is Progressing....

Hey guys!

So this computer is really bad. I´m trying to send pictures but it´s really slow, so i don´t know if i´ll get to send them on time. i´ll do my best though.

Wow this week has been a bit crazy. First off, our mission beat our record for baptisms in a month. We got  I think 191, which is really good. (mom we´re having that meeting with president this week so you´ll probably get pictures this week.)

Next, we had a baptism! Her name is Magda. She´s pretty cool. She´s like 50 something. She lives with her son and grandkids for now. We met her last week and invited her to church. She couldn´t go last week, so we stopped by her house this week. She LITERALLY asked when she could be baptized! haha! She was baptized on Saturday. We were doing splits so I didn´t get to see it, but I got to confirm her a member which was pretty cool. We´re more or less teaching her family right now.

Crazy Week! T.V.s on Every Corner

June 23

Hey guys!

Man this week has been pretty crazy! There was another Brazil game on Tuesday so we had to be home before 3 and leave at like 7:30. Actually, there´s another game today, so basically our p-day will be a bit longer than usual. Unfortunately I don´t have more time to email, so I´m a bit short. (Sorry mom, I don´t think I have time to send the pictures. Remind me next week and I´ll send them for sure. I really need to start taking more pictures.)

Missions are Awesome!! It Was a Great Birthday!

Trevor's MTC Companion Elder Beltrani

June 16

Hey guys!

Wow I have tons to say but I´m really short on time. I got 3 packages this week! Thank you so much mom and dad and family for your package! It was so awesome! Thank you so much Courtney Jensen and the Jensen family for your package! Thank you so much Aunt Christy for you package! It totally made my week and my birthday!

Happy  Father´s day Dad!

So the World Cup started this past week. The rule is that we have to return to our house at 3 and leave at 7:30 again when Brazil plays. They´ve only played once so far but they´re playing again tomorrow. It can get pretty crazy down here. We know when Brazil scores and stuff because their´s fireworks and people are screaming and everything. The work has been a bit more difficult but not really hard or anything.

The Lord's Work Is Happening....

June 9, 2014

Holy cow!

This week has been a bit crazy. So last Monday 20 minutes after we finished emailing, (at like 2:30) I found out that I was actually leaving for Maringá (my new area) that day, and that my bus would leave at like 4:20! Haha! so we booked it backed to the house, packed everything as fast as we could, and left for the bus station. luckily I made it on time.

When I first got to Maringá I didn´t think I would really like this area, but I´m actually liking it a lot! My new companion is Elder H. He´s a pretty cool guy and a good missionary! We live with the Zone leaders in our zone. They´re pretty cool too. One´s Peruvian and the other is Brazilian. We moved this week! When I first got here we were living in a pretty crappy house. But this past week we moved to a different house which is flippin sweet! Haha! It´s a lot better than the other. (I´ll try and send pictures next week) It´s still a house for missionaries so it's not like super sheaky, but I´m liking it a lot.

It's Awesome Being Out Here On My Mission!

June 2, 2014

What´s up guys!

Holy cow, so this week was crazy. Right after we finished emailing last week, we found out that this transfer is only 5 weeks long! So this past week was the last week of transfers. And guess what I just found out...I’m getting transferred! Crazy! I’m excited, but also a bit nervous. My companion, Elder N is leaving too. He’s going to be a Zone leader in another area. I’m leaving the zone Londrina, and I’m going to a nearby city called Maringá. My new companion is going to be Elder  H. I don’t know him, but I’ve seen his name before. So yeah! Tomorrow I’m heading for a new area! It will be pretty crazy. And I still have to pack and everything!

I Am Starting to Think in Português!

Hey guys!

So this week was pretty crazy...again, haha!

To start off, Marcelo and Marcia were baptized on Saturday! Don´t know if I´ve talked about them yet. They went to the Assistant´s ward and loved it 2 or 3 sundays ago (They baptized Marcia´s sister there). They live in our area though so the Assistents sent us their names and address. They have a daughter named Marcela that is 7 years old.

When we were over at their house the other day, she showed me a movie that she loves to watch. It was that David and Goliath movie that Thurl Bailey is in. I told her that I met him once in the United States. She thought that was so cool.  I think she thought I really met Goliath, haha! I don´t know if it´s because she´s too young to understand or I don´t know how to speak Português. Baha! one of the two.

If You Have Faith, Things Will Work Out...

Hey guys!

This week was crazy! Lots of stuff happened! First off, Happy anniversary mom and dad! Hope it was a great one!

If You Have Faith Ye Need Not Fear

Hey guys!
How´s it going! It was so awesome to talk to you guys yesterday and hear you voices! Holy cow Nathan you´ve grown tons! HAPPY MOTHER´S DAY MOM! AND HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE MOTHERS OUT THERE. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!

This week went really well! We started working in a different area this week. We found lots of really great people with tons of potential! Sadly almost all of them were busy and couldn´t come to church yesterday because of Mother´s Day. We´re definitely going to do everything we can to make sure that they come next week!

Excited to Skype on Sunday- Not a Lot of Time Today

Hey guys!

Holy cow I´m short on time again this week!

I´m super stoked to talk to you next week Mom, Dad, Matt, Nathan, Jenna!
We get to Skype for 40 minutes this next Sunday! We´re going to go to the house of a member and Skype probably around 5 o’clock our time. Maybe a bit sooner, maybe a bit later, so be prepared! Haha! I don´t know who´s going to Skype first though. If I go second, it´ll be about 45 minutes later.

This week was pretty good with missionary work and everything. We have a new investigator. Simoni and her daughter, Natália. They are awesome! They were references from a member here in our ward. They´re both really great and they´re progressing a lot. They have a baptismal date marked for this Saturday! Let ya know how it goes next week!

Priorities Make a Difference

Hey guys!

Wow this week totally flew by! Tomorrow is transfers. We´ll find out what happens later today. Odds are we will stay here in our area. We might get another set of elders though! that would be awesome because we´ve been walking a lot lately because we´re the only elders in our area and our area is really big. We´ll see what happens!
This week went pretty well. Our zone and another zone had a meeting with the president this week. The guest speaker was his mom and dad! They were pretty cool and they gave awesome talks (a lot of which I didn´t understand, ha ha!)

The Gospel Can Bless Everyone's Life

Hey guys!

Holy cow this week was crazy and I don´t have too much time to write it all! I don´t know if I told you about this non-member named Vera L that visited our ward last Sunday. Her sister is a member, and she was living with her for a while
We went by her house this past Monday. Long story short, she was baptized Saturday! I´m super excited for her. She is a super awesome and super nice person! She looks so much happier since we first met her.

When we first met her she talked about how her son died 4 years ago and some other stuff and how she´s been going through a hard time. It´s so awesome how the Gospel applies to everyone and can bless everyone´s life! She´s actually moving today to another city to live with her brother or something like that, so we´re going to send her information and everything to the ward over there. I have no doubt she´s going to remain firm in the Gospel!

Happy Easter! I Love My Savior

Trevor enjoying the rain!

Hey guys!

Holy cow! I do not have that much time to email this week, but this week was crazy! The work went pretty well, but we did a lot of walking. Haha!

Yesterday we got up at 5:30 so we could get to our area at 7:30 (40-50 minutes by foot). We went by houses of less active and investigators that committed to come to church. We were running behind so we LITERALLY had to run from place to place for a bit. Haha! and we were in full suits and everything! Haha!  Luckily it was foggy that morning and not really hot, otherwise I would´ve died!
