Bom dia!
Tomorrow is Christmas conference in our mission! ALL of the missionaries in our mission are coming for conference. This will be the first time that it´s happened since I got here.
This week was pretty good! I really like our zone here in Londrina, but our zone hasn´t been having too much success lately. We´re trying to fix that. Elder Matos is a super cool guy! He´s a great missionary too! There´s been a lot of joking and laughter this past week.
We had lunch with a few members that live pretty far away. We had to like cross a forest to get to their home faster. It was stinkin awesome! i felt like i was in a brazilian jungle for a bit, haha! We sure had to do a lot of walking this week though.
The work is coming, but it´s coming a bit slowly lately. We have a few investigators that are progressing so we´re going to continue working with them. There´s one investigator named José Carlos. He´s a super cool guy. We put him on date for this next Sunday but yesterday morning he had to work and so didn´t come to church. He´s already gone in the past but it´s been a while.
But the ward is great. They really take care of the missionaries.
For a spiritual thought,
The Church is starting this new (is it called campaign?) call "He is the Present". (Note in English it is called "He is the Gift")
There´s a really cool video that talks about how Jesus Christ really is the best present we can receive. I know that Christ lives and that he loves us. He gave his life for us so that we can find happiness in this life and return to live with him. Hope you all have an awesome week!
