The Lord Works in Mysterious Ways

Bom dia!

Crazy week! We went to Londrina this week for that meeting with President Genaro. Man it was super awesome to see some of my ex-companions and a few other missionaries. It´s hard to believe that they´re all going home soon! There are some that are going home at the end of this transfer! That was the last time that I would see them on the mission. But the meeting was really awesome. The assistants gave each companionship an assignment to give  a 10 minute training about a specific topic. Ours was how our job isn´t just to supervise and motivate  the missionaries that we take care of, but inspire, uplift, and bless them. It went pretty well. It was super awesome to see the other trainings from the other Elders. Pretty fun.

I think my companion, Elder De Lima, has a good chance of being the new Assistant!  I´m rooting for him. He´s a really awesome missionary and a really hard worker. He´s a really great companion and he teaches really well.

It´s been pretty fun being in the same zone as Elder Antonio. Haha lots of laughter. He´s seriously one of the funniest guys I've every met! His english is getting pretty good too! I think it´s getting better than mine, baha!

Raíssa was going to be baptized yesterday. She´s been going to church on and off for like 2 months straight. She accepted a baptismal date for this past Sunday and was really excited for it, but on Saturday she got a bit nervous and said that she wanted to wait a bit longer and learn a bit more. Pray for her please!

Church was pretty interesting yesterday. We had 6 investigators that said they would come to church without a doubt and 4 more that said maybe. The 6 that gave their word didn't end up coming but the other 4 did! Wierd! Haha but the Lord works in mysterious ways! I got a bit nervous when our investigators fell through, but the Lord really blessed us yesterday with investigators at church. Now to teach them.

We found another really great investigator that came to church yesterday, Janaíne, but I´ll tell you guys a bit about her next week. Boa semana! Love you all, miss ya tons!
